TikTok Shop Adds Affiliate Agent to Affiliate Center

TikTok Shop now has an AI helper inside Affiliate Center for US sellers. It can find creators, send invitations, approve sample requests, and answer how-to questions. This week, open the chat window, ask it to find a creator for a product, and then act on the results it shows.

What changed

• There is a new chat tool inside Affiliate Center. It appears as a clickable icon in the corner of the screen, and you can also open it from buttons on the pages where you search for creators or manage sample requests.
• You can tell the tool what kind of creator you need in everyday language. It will recommend creators and explain why each one matches. You can filter by product, category, specific creator, or metrics like total sales, audience size, or how often they fulfill orders. You can also tell it what to avoid.
• You can ask the AI to handle creator outreach. It will pick products, confirm the recipients, compose the invite, and send it. If you just searched a list of creators, telling it to invite them will automatically use that list.
• Sample requests can be handled through the chat. You can say things like 'approve all pending samples for this product' and the agent will find the right orders and act. It can also check sample progress and fix basic problems.
• The tool knows about TikTok Shop affiliate policies. You can ask it how-to or rule questions and get an answer right in the conversation.
• The assistant is limited to US sellers at launch and uses the language from your seller settings. It is an add-on to the current pages, not a replacement. You can type up to 500 characters per message, and it starts fresh each time you open it after about 2.5 hours.

US-based TikTok Shop sellers who manage affiliate programs in Affiliate Center. It is an extra layer on top of current tools, so existing workflows remain unchanged.

• Go to Affiliate Center, look for a chat button in the corner of the screen, or use a shortcut on the Find Creator or Sample Approval page.

• Leave feedback with the thumbs up or down buttons after each answer, because that helps improve the tool.

My honest take: This saves clicks for creator discovery and sample approvals, but it is early and US-only. The 500 character limit and no cross-session memory mean you still need to repeat context. I would test it with a low-risk task before using it for high-volume outreach.
