How to use Smart Promotion on TikTok Shop

To use Smart Promotion on TikTok Shop, open Marketing in Seller Center and click Smart Promotion. On Register for programs, read the plan card and its benefits, and look for the Active tag. Open Manage programs to change your plan. Then scroll to Program performance and check GMV contribution, new customers and orders to judge the results.

01In the left menu, click Marketing.
02Under Marketing, click Smart Promotion.
03On Register for programs, the plan card shows what the program gives you.
04The Active tag shows which plan your shop is on right now.
05Extra Exposure lists where your products can show up.
06Unlock Campaign Eligibility matters most to me. It is the way into platform campaigns.
07Click Manage programs to see or change your plan, or to leave it.
08Under Program performance, GMV contribution shows how much of your sales came with Smart Promotion discounts.
09Click Discount overview to see which discount tools were used, order by order.

My tips

Set the date range first, then compare the same length of time before you decide.
A discount shown on an order is what the shopper received. It is not your cost. Your real cost is on the settlement statement.
Check that GMV contribution and new customers move up, not only orders.
